Bio
Arieana T. Dunne is an Associate Attorney at John F. Schutz, P.L., where she focuses on family law matters.
Ms. Dunne was raised in Indian River County, Florida. She graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a minor in Chemistry. A proud FSU alumna, she was a member of the Marching Chiefs and Seminole Sound.
Ms. Dunne attended Barry University School of Law, where she developed a strong passion for environmental law. She earned an Honors Certificate in Environmental and Earth Law and spent three semesters as a Clinician in the Environmental and Earth Law Clinic. As a Research Assistant to Professor Rachel Deming, she drafted comments to the EPA opposing coal plant operations and several proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution in support of Speak Up Wekiva’s Rights of Nature initiative. She also assisted with research for Professor Deming’s published article, The Big Chill: Are Public Participation Rights Being SLAPP-Ed? (read here).
Ms. Dunne began her career in family law immediately after law school, working as a law clerk and later as an associate in her home county of Indian River, where she developed a client-centered, compassionate approach to practicing law. After her admission to The Florida Bar, she began providing pro bono and reduced-cost legal advice to individuals navigating family law matters who might not otherwise have access to representation. Through this work, she discovered a deep commitment to child advocacy and child welfare, and she is dedicated to continuing to protect and guide the best interests of children in every case she handles.
In her free time, Ms. Dunne loves spending time with her family and her dogs, Winnie and Ben. She enjoys traveling and takes every opportunity to explore new places. She is also deeply committed to helping others and finding creative outlets whenever she can.
