Serving Families Throughout Palm Beach Gardens

This past weekend the lawyers and paralegals of John F. Schutz, P.L. attended the Board Certification Review Seminar in Orlando, Florida. This seminar offered an in-depth study of Florida family law and was attended by 1900 professionals. With quarantines hopefully behind us, it was pleasant to interact with friends and colleagues in person. Having attended this conference for twenty-eight consecutive years, it is interesting how the experience changes over time. I remember listening as an overwhelmed young lawyer. Now, when I attend, I reminisce with mentors who are now retired and lawyers who once worked with me as partners, associates, and paralegals. Many now have their own law practices.

Attending the Florida Bar Board Certification Review Seminar in Orlando was an incredible experience. This is the largest family law conference in Florida and perhaps the nation. The seminar is a unique opportunity to connect with some of the best and brightest family lawyers from all over the state. Having lectured at this seminar and been on the Continuing Legal Education Committee (CLE) of the Family Law Section in past years, I know firsthand the hard work that went into planning such an enriching event.

The conference was packed with informative sessions and presentations covering various topics related to family law, including divorce, child custody, and property division. The speakers were knowledgeable and engaging, providing valuable insights and practical tips for practicing family law.

In addition to the educational sessions, the conference also provided opportunities for networking and connecting with other family lawyers. With so many attendees, it was easy to strike up conversations and build meaningful connections with others in the field.

One of the conference’s highlights was hearing from some of Florida’s most respected family lawyers. Their presentations were insightful and engaging, providing a wealth of knowledge and practical tips for practicing family law.

Overall, attending the Florida Bar Board Certification Review Seminar was a genuinely enriching experience. The knowledge and connections gained from the conference will be valuable for years to come, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in family law.
